What are We?
What's Mine is Yours is a charitable (nonprofit) 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to the collection and distribution of Gently Loved Clothing.(G.L.C) So far, What's Mine is Yours has partnered with Students Rise Above (SRA), Shelter INC., Youth Homes, Community Youth Center (CYC), Bay Area Allicane for Youth and Family Service, Northern California Family Center as well as 8 indivuals to ensure every teen girl in our community has the necessary clothing! Katie and Paige started What's Mine is Yours in June 2012 and have since collected over 2,000 pieces of clothing and have donated over 1,300 pieces to girls in our community.
As freshman in high school, we see the importance of giving back to our community and we are determined to make a difference at such a young age. We will not let our age limit our abilities, and we hope to inspire many teen girs to "be the change they want to see."
